Who We Are
New Creation Church was founded in November 2000 as a church plant in the Brethren in Christ (BIC) denomination. We welcome all people, especially those who do not have a home church. If you are looking for a home church with an informal worship style and/or you feel awkward or unsettled at a traditional service, then New Creation might be for you.
What to Expect
Our musical style can be classified as contemporary Christian worship music.
Our worship team consists of vocals, drums, keyboard, electric and acoustic guitars and bass.
Kids of all ages have fun classrooms with interactive teachers.
Dress at NC is casual. Jeans, shorts etc. are the norm.
The message is practical, personal and offers hope and even much needed humor.
Our Mission Statement
NewCreationChurch exists to reach people from all walks of life for Jesus through worship, ministry, and relationships.
Our Pastor
Jerry Stonge has been an educator and athletic coach for over 25 years. He is known for being outgoing and people centered. Pastor Jerry is respected for his sensitivity, especially in counseling. And he is appreciated for his humor and down-to-earth nature (yes, he often teaches in jeans or shorts and sandals). He and his wife, Gloria, work together in ministry and have been married for 35 years.
Our Ministries
Community Involvement – NewCreation values the local community and interacts with other local ministries such as New Hope Ministries, participates in local events such as Farmer’s Fair, and organizes and sponsors FIREHOUSE (a gathering of young, local band talent at the Dillsburg Fire Hall).
Small Groups – NewCreation places a high value on relationships and spiritual growth. Both are accomplished in small group settings. In the comfort of a home setting, families and individuals develop strong relationships, while growing in their relationship with Christ. Various small groups include: Young Adults, Young Marrieds, Parenting, Older Marrieds, Men’s Bible Study and Women’s Bible Study.
Children – NewCreation provides a nursery, preschool class, elementary class, and a children’s choir.
Youth - NewCreation has a youth group that meets on Wednesday nights.
Miscellaneous – NewCreation encourages the participation and involvement of everyone who attends (not just its members). Other ministries such as Prayer, Benevolence, Greeting, Hospitality, and Nursing Home Outreach provide an opportunity for everyone to use their talents to serve others.
